1. The primary goal of this course is to make every students by the end of the course be able to attain an intermediate level of competence in using and understanding spoken Tibetan.
2. The second objective of this course is to get the students ready for literary Tibetan by the end of this course. In order to achieve this goal, the students will be introduced to the latest reading methods and pronunciation rules and will have regular practice in reading and writing.
