This course is designed for the students who have completed their intermediate level Tibetan and are ready to learn more advanced Tibetan.
The class will focus on Central Tibetan dialect, officially known as Standard Tibetan.
The goal of this course is to enable students to communicate fluently with native Tibetan speakers, as well as to read and write modern Tibetan. Colloquial Tibetan will be emphasized. To this end, a number of class activities will be held in a computer lab or in a media center, to enable the students to take advantage of modern teaching technologies.
