Xi He (Elementary Sanskrit, 2007) received her MA from the department of South Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Chicago. She is currently a Ph.D candidate in this same department.
Her main interest is Sanskrit kaavya and poetics and Buddhist narratives. Her dissertation project focuses on the aesthetic and narrative aspects of the early Buddhist text the Lalitavistara.
