Namgyal Dolkar (Elementary Tibetan, 2006) graduated from the University of North Bengal, India with a BA in English, Geography, Political Science, and Education in 1988.

From 1988 to 1992 she worked in the Department of Health of the Tibetan Government as an Assistant Project Officer. She led twenty-four clinics and two hospitals. Dolkar has experience teaching Tibetan language to non-native speakers. She worked at SASLI as a Faculty Assistant in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
